Welcome to Tantalizing Morsel. Today I'm sharing a super easy and flavorful dessert.
This is going to be made using Tommy Atkins Mango. Now you are probably wondering, "Just how many mangos are there?" Well...there's a lot! The most common here in the US and in Mexico are the Tommy Atkins. This type of mango can be eaten slightly green for a more tangy taste or fully ripe which is softer and sweeter. I went with a more unripened mango for the compote.
Now you're probably wondering what a compote is. Simply put is is whole or large pieces of fruit cooked in a syrup, which can be served hot or cold.
A perfect ending to a perfect dinner and with so little effort!
