A Traditional Spanish Drink!
I know! This is one that you all have been waiting for! There is nothing better than specialty drinks for the holidays. This Thanksgiving I made a SANGRIA!!! It's a wonderful alcoholic punch made with wine.
Sangria can be made with either red or white wine depending on what type of meal you are having or the type of event you are hosting. Today I'm going to share my specialty...Sangria Mia. I call it Sangria Mia because it's a sangria made my way. Most traditional red wine sangria use brandy. I decided on another liqueur that was made from the cane fields in Cuba! RUM!
Use a glass goblet. This is wide enough for you to add in the ice as well as add in pieces of fruit as you pour. I would use either a stainless steel pitcher as it can be chilled and retain some of the cold temperature once removed from the fridge.
I hope that you have enjoyed this recipe and that you come back to visit for more items I make throughout the year!
