A little creole food for the soul!
Hi everyone! I;m so excited to share this one pot dish with you. I have long been having a hankering for Cajun food and one of the dishes that has been my favorite is Jambalaya. This particular dish reminds me of a Spanish Paella.
A total meal all rolled into one. With this you get three types of proteins, carbs, some veggies and tons of spice! Of course that is usually my favorite part.... :P
So let's get started. Below is your list of ingredients. Do the prep work first and this dish will be left to cook on it's own faster than you can blink.

Add in the shrimp and toss it all together. Once you have mixed in the shrimp, add in some chopped green onions. and two cans of stewed diced tomatoes.
Finally you will add in your water and tomato paste. mix this well so that the past things out in the water. Taste for salt and add if needed to taste. Your dish will now cook for about 25-25 minutes so that the water soaks up. This will be more of a sticky rice dish rather than that of a dry rice.
Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
So here you have it! a wonderful one pot dish that is packed full of flavor and truly very easy to make.
